For a wealth of facts and figures about Illinois Valley attractions and highlights, plus other sites around Southwestern Oregon, the Illinois Valley Information Center in the city of Cave Junction is the place to visit.
Operated by Illinois Valley Community Development Organization, the information site is on Caves Hwy. (Oregon 46) a short distance east of the intersection with Redwood Hwy. (Route 199).

Besides a cornucopia of tourism and other information -- including that about Oregon Caves National Monument -- the center offers a variety of merchandise, much of it from valley artisans. It includes T-shirts and sweatshirts; books about the area geology, history and botany; children’s puzzles, books and games; postcards and greeting cards; and jewelry.
