The Illinois Valley Airport Advisory Board met one last time in 2010 on Monday, Dec. 27, to address ongoing projects and review the progress made during the year.

Bringing joy to those in need
Todd Kanberline and Teresa Matz slave away in the kitchen Dec. 25. For 7 years Andrea and Glenn Steelman with 30 to 40 volunteers have served up to 400 meals. All food for the meals are donated, along with toys, clothes and food for folks to take home. When asked how many they expected to serve this year Glenn responded with “GOD will bring who he wants.“ The dinner was held at the Josephine County Building in Cave Junction.
Christine Murphy might have been born in the “big city” of Pendleton, Ore., but she doesn’t seem to want to go back there anytime soon.
A holiday story-time reading entertained children and family members at the Josephine County Community Library in Cave Junction Saturday, Dec. 18.
