    Students and fans erupted with glee after the Illinois Valley Cougar football team defeated Lakeview 27-22 on Homecoming night, Nov. 5, giving them a playoff berth for the first time since 2007.

    During Illinois Valley High School“s Spirit Week, the Powderpuff football seniors and freshman defeated the juniors and sophomores 20-8 on Wednesday, Nov. 3.
