Power out praise

Mr. Mancuso, I appreciate the direction that you are taking the I. V. News and wish you success.

An open letter to the employees of Pacific Power:

Last night, October 24, I lost power at approximately 7:04 p.m. While I was not able to watch Brett Favre get beat by the Packers“, I was still inside, warm, dry, and listened to this event on a battery operated radio by candle light.

You were handling “trouble calls“ and going out in the middle of the first bad storm of the season.

You thought enough of my electricity to leave your family, your warm house, your Sunday Night Football game to turn my lights on.

You did this on a suck-ass night, in wind, rain and darkness. Only 3-1/2 hours later, I got my lights back while you were still trying to get warm and dry, and cleaned up and back to your home.

Much appreciated!
