Turnout high for Barter Faire
The 8th annual Hope Mountain Barter Faire was held on a Holland Loop property from Friday, Sept. 17 until Sunday, Sept. 19. A steady downpour of rain did not put a damper on attendance, much to the delight of event organizers like Susan Gustafson. “It surprised me that people kept on coming though it was pouring rain,“ Gustafson said. “I was so happy. I was worried that people would stay away because of the rain, but they came anyway.“
