FARMIN“ FUNCTION - The second annual Illinois Valley Farm & Garden Festival will be held in Jubilee Park in Cave Junction on Saturday, Sept. 11 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Features will include farm and garden technique demonstrations, live music, crafts and food. QUACKTACULAR - Public entries for Grants Pass Rotary Club“s 2010 Rogue Duck Derby on Saturday, Sept. 25 are available. Proceeds will be used for a baseball complex project near Allendale Elementary School in Grants Pass. And a three-year commitment has been made to Illinois Valley Booster Club to help develop an all-weather track at Illinois Valley High School. NOTEPAD - The Oregon Lions Sight & Hearing Foundation (OLSHF) has been named one of 41 finalists for a national award in the “50 States for Good“ initiative by Tom“s of Maine.
