Illinois Valley Fire District (IVFD) personnel responded to suppress a brush fire in the 5000 block of Caves Hwy. Thursday night, Aug. 19. No cause was determined for the blaze, which was confined to one-tenth of an acre. Oregon Dept. of Forestry personnel also responded. The potential for fire in Illinois Valley is considered “extreme“ at this time.
