Forever Remembered
Rasha Nicole Smith
Rasha was promoted to glory on Friday, July 2, 2010 at her home on Holland Loop Road in Cave Junction, Oregon.
Rasha was born on Nov. 8, 1973 in Salinas, Calif. In 1984 her family moved to Selma, Oregon.
Rasha was a 1992 graduate of Illinois Valley High School. Shortly after graduation she married Cameron Smith, her high school sweetheart, and they celebrated nearly 18 years of marriage.
Rasha and Cameron have two children that she loved very much “ Breanne and Clyde, who she loved spending time with.
She enjoyed her work at Community Christian Academy where she taught pre-school students.
Rasha loved daily devotions with the Lord, also singing, scrapbooking, cake decorating, making cards, and being a great, loving wife and mother. But the highlight of her day was when her husband pulled into the driveway.
She was a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She was an inspiration to all, and never lost faith in God.
Rasha leaves behind her husband Cameron; daughter, Breanne; son, Clyde; mother, Linda Engles; brother, Richard Engles and family; brother, John Engles and family; sister, Rebecca Engles and family, and many nieces and nephews.
“Thank you, babe, for all you“ve done for our family. I wouldn“t change anything. You will be greatly missed.“
A memorial service will be held at Selma Baptist Church at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 17, 2010.
