IVN inserts really work
From Matt Encinas
O“Brien

I realize that a “thank you“ is not allowed in this section, so here“s my note of “kudos“ to Illinois Valley News. I appreciate this publication and am grateful to have such a wonderful resource in our valley.

Zina Booth, at your front counter, is so friendly and a wealth of knowledge regarding community happenings. She is always a joy to work with, and is so patient when assisting with classified ads.

Zina suggested your Featured Business Deal or an insert to boost my delivery business. Iopted for an insert since I“ve been running classified ads regularly. I dropped off my preprinted inserts, paid my fee and waited.

Your Wednesday insertion crew must have done an incredible job getting my inserts out in the paper, because the telephone started ringing as soon as the newspaper was available. I even made a delivery that very same day.

Illinois Valley News “ keep up the good work!

Creditor or debtor/slave“
From Raymond Ronald Karczewski©

It has been said by others that there are two worlds in the consciousness of Man:

The Natural world inhabited by the living, breathing, flesh-and-blood, sentient, natural man and woman; and the Fairytale world inhabited by fictitious corporate persons, the living dead functioning as the living man/woman.

The first world is that of the sovereign man and woman, creations of God, imbued with the God-given unalienable rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of property. It is the world of one who understands who they are in relationship to their God and to their fictional servant government.

Such spiritual entity is free of debt, and owns clear and outright their basic requirement of food, clothing, shelter, and freedom in order to sustain a peaceful life for themselves and their loved ones. It is a real, tangible paradise, here and now, on Earth for them and their posterity.

The second world is that of fictional entities, artificial “persons,“ corporate entities “ strawmen created by the fictional servant government via birth certification, which subjugates such fictional entities to the limited, and fairytale existence/jurisdiction of a private organization called corporation.

Such fictional corporate entities draw their fictional life, their life“s blood, breath, and sustenance from its parasitical relationship to its host “ the living, breathing, flesh-and-blood, sentient “ without the support of the natural man or woman, who has been duped through conditioning and self-doubt to infuse the dead entity with its spiritual energy, the entity, and its creator, the fictional government would die from lack of support.

The illusions in this fairytale, fictional world are great. All-pervasive, in fact. It is the norm within which most civilized men and women live their lives never knowing what lies beyond the curtain of illusion.

However, the litmus test which determines whether one lives in the real world of Nature, or the fictional world of government, lies in the examination of one“s basic relationship to food, clothing, and shelter. Are such life-sustaining needs owned by the entities themselves or are they owned by corporations and government“ Who among us is free of debt, not trapped within the web of credit where creditors own debtors and make them slaves.

People need to look into themselves and ask the question: Which am I, a creditor or a debtor slave“

Best Fourth of July ever
From Allison Ballard
Cave Junction

My hat“s off to Michael Garnier, Peggy Malone and the crew of Out-n-About Treesort for putting on one of the most memorable 4th of July events ever.

One thing about Michael and Peggy, they make sure everyone is having a good time.

This year Michael surprised everybody when he announced that he was falling one very large, old, dead oak tree on his property. Yes, it was pretty exciting to those who have never seen that before.

Then right about the time the sun is going down over the mountain, you see families and friends finding places to sit out on the green grass to watch the fireworks.

This year Michael outdid himself. There was almost three hours of non-stop fireworks.

Then after the fireworks, there was more live music. You could see all kinds of different people dancing and singing. Some of them were laughing and reminiscing with old friends, some were meeting new ones.

And at midnight, if you didn“t pay for overnight camping, it was time to leave. This year Michael and his crew managed to entertain more than 3,000 people.

And this is the part that amazed me. You would think it would take a few days before everything was back to normal. Boy, was I wrong. By 10 a.m. the next morning, you could not tell that there had been more than 3,000 people there the night before.

Once again, my hat“s off to you guys for delivering one of the best 4th of July“s ever. I would love to see this become a tradition for future generations to enjoy.
