  • Saturday, May 1
    • At a day-use area at Lake Selmac, a woman was disorderly, sitting shirtless on a picnic table and allowing a dog to run off-leash. She left prior to a deputy“s arrival.
    • Garnet Robert Smith, 58, was cited on charges of DUII and driving with a suspended license on Lakeshore Drive at 11:13 a.m.
    • A caller stated that his son had been the subject of harassment by his girlfriend“s mother“s ex-boyfriend.
    • Loud music coming from a residence on Mountain View Way was complained about at 9:04 p.m.
  • Sunday, May 2
    • A deputy responded to a report of a disturbance on Lakeshore Drive.
    • Two bail bondsmen from Washington state were looking for information about a man with a felony warrant who they said resides in Illinois Valley.
    • A complainant reported a disturbance at Jubilee Park where foul language was being used in front of children.
    • “Tweaking“ individuals were said to have made threats with a pocketknife toward nearby residents in the 500 block of S. Redwood Hwy. around 10:15 p.m.
  • Monday, May 3
    • Employee error resulted in an alarm at Michelle“s Restaurant at 7:04 a.m.
    • A woman who said that she was defrauded on a car purchase over the Internet reported that she“d wired $2,990 for a pickup truck, but that it was a scam. She was advised to file a complaint with the Internet Fraud Complaint Center.
    • Because a vehicle was parked in the front yard at a vacant residence in O“Brien, a caller thought it suspicious.
    • The existence of a continuing feud between neighbors on Ken Rose Lane was duly noted.
    • Someone from Barlow Road complained of trespassers on his property. He said that he was going to take his gun and confront them.
    • From the 28000 block of Redwood Hwy. came a report that a mentally ill person was walking around his house and refusing to leave. The man was “rambling about who may have stolen his car.“
  • Tuesday, May 4
    • A Three Mill Road resident reported continuing harassment by a neighbor. He wanted the man cited on a trespassing charge.
    • On Holland Loop a woman said that her son, against whom she has a restraining order, came into her residence to get some of his belongings.
    • Theft of a 9mm Ruger pistol from a residence on Laurel Road was reported.
    • Theft of a two-door Toyota Corolla from a location on Redwood Hwy. was reported.
    • A driver was warned for failure to obey a traffic control device (Stop sign) and failure to carry current proof of insurance following a two-vehicle accident on N. Redwood Hwy. at River Street at 5 p.m.
    • Adam Joseph Luksetich, 28, was cited on a charge of speeding (72 mph in a 45 mph zone) on Redwood Hwy. a short distance north of Cave Junction at 6:10 p.m.
    • An 8-year-old runaway girl was found by her father in Downtown Cave Junction.
    • While he was incarcerated, a man stated, some 15 vehicles were removed from his Pinewood Way property.
    • Christophe J. Fogler, 32, was cited on a charge of speeding (69 mph in a 55 mph zone) on Redwood Hwy. at Briggs Valley Road at 7:29 p.m.
    • At Reeves Creek Road on Redwood Hwy., Thomas Alan Kennedy, 20, was cited on a charge of speeding (72 mph in a 55 mph zone).
    • Every afternoon, a caller from Dogwood Lane said, boys are riding 4-wheelers and motorcycles up and down the road.
