3 Rivers Chorale to perform in CJ May 22

“The Blue Green Hills of Earth“ is the theme of the concert series to be performed by the 3 Rivers Chorale on Saturday, May 22 at 3 p.m. at Immanuel United Methodist Church, 200 W. Watkins Street, in Cave Junction.
It also will be performed on Sunday, May 23 at 7:30 p.m. at Newman United Methodist Church, 132 N.E. “B“ St. in Grants Pass.
The 39-member choir, directed by Kate Campbell, will be joined by instrumentalists Tim Wallace on woodwinds, Nancy Hodgson on piano and Michelle LeCompte on guitar.
Said Campbell, “With music, song, and poetry, 3 Rivers Chorale celebrates the human experience in relationship to our beautiful planet in “The Blue Green Hills of Earth.“ We pay homage to the blue rivers, verdant valleys and majestic mountains that identify Southern Oregon.“
Admission to the Cave Junction concert is free, but donations will be accepted. There are ticket prices for the Grants Pass performance. Tickets are available at Aquarius Books and Gifts, 528 N.E. E St. in Grants Pass. For information phone 541-476-6243 or visit 3riverschorale.com.
