Marion Alice Herrmann
Marion Alice Herrmann, 82, died Thursday, March 4, 2010 at Three Rivers Community Hospital in Grants Pass.
There will be a graveside service on Sunday, March 28, 2010 at 2:30 p.m. at Deer Creek Cemetery in Selma.
Mrs. Herrmann was born in Worthington, Minn. on March 13, 1927 to Ralph & Myrtle Dickey. In 1944 she graduated from high school in Balaton, Minn. and married Merlin E. Herrmann.
After she retired from her job as station manager at Hertz Rent-a-Car in Oakland, Calif., they moved from Castro Valley, Calif. to Selma in 1972.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Merlin E. Herrmann; son, Myron C. Herrmann; grandson, Lawrence Herrmann; granddaughter, Krystal Herrmann; and great-grandson, Wyatt Brown.
Surviving are her brother Ned Dickey, from Phoenix, Ariz. and Rockford, Ill.; and sons Merle Herrmann, of North Bend, Ore., and Mark Herrmann, of Sacramento, Calif.; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Mary Jo Stricklan
Mary Jo Stricklan, 64, died Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at her home in Cave Junction.
No service is planned.
She was born July 2, 1946 in San Antonio, Texas.
In 1994 she married David Arthur Stricklan in Reno, Nevada.
She moved to Cave Junction approximately 15 years ago. She worked many years at Select Market in Cave Junction, and for Otter Creek Transportation.
Mrs. Stricklan was preceded in death by her husband. She left behind many friends and will be missed greatly.
Survivors are an adopted daughter, Kasey Lunt; granddaughters Kiersten, Danielle and Madison Robbins; one grandson Christopher Stricklan; one brother Robert of Sacramento.
