    Wednesday, Feb. 3
    • Following an argument on McMullen Creek Road that devolved into shoving, Thomas Draper, 43, was cited on a charge of fourth-degree domestic violence.
    • Subsequent to a complaint that a driver was speeding on Laurel Road in a small white car that ran him off the road, Michael Christopher Fuentes, 21, was cited on charges of driving with a suspended license (DWS), and driving without insurance. He also was warned regarding careless driving, failure to obey a traffic control device and failure to carry and present (a license).
    • Three young women who seemed highly intoxicated were reported to be weaving their way through Downtown Cave Junction at around 8:30 p.m. The caller was concerned because they were falling in front of vehicles. A deputy could not locate the trio.
    • Jacob Mathew David Gerrard, 23, was cited on a charge of speeding (68 mph in a 55 mph zone) on Redwood Hwy. in the 24000 block at 9:56 p.m.
    • After someone on N. Old Stage Road reported a trespasser at 9:52 p.m., two young men were contacted nearby. Following a field sobriety test and a Breathalyzer sample, Joseph Waltman, 20, was cited on a charge of minor in possession of alcohol and warned for possession of a controlled substance (marijuana, which was destroyed on scene).
    • Paul Eugene White, 61, was cited on a charge of speeding (58 mph in a 40 mph zone) on Redwood Hwy. at Laurel Road at 11:10 p.m.
    • On Holland Loop a woman reported that her husband was threatening her. No evidence of a crime was found, and she was given a ride to Grants Pass.
  • Thursday, Feb. 4
    • Theft overnight of a Husqvarna chainsaw from an unlocked barn in the 6000 block of Caves Hwy. was reported.
    • At Shop Smart Food Warehouse it was stated that some $13.52 worth of beer was found in a suspected shoplifter“s backpack. A report for third-degree theft was to follow.
    • Following a traffic stop on Caves Hwy. near S. Junction Avenue, Joshua Jax Harvey, 35, and William Allison Harvey, 38, were lodged in Josephine County Jail in Grants Pass on charges of probation violation.
    • In connection with the previous incident, William Harvey was cited on a charge of open container. Tools, a spotlight and scanner were discovered upon a consent search of the vehicle.
  • Friday, Feb. 5
    • Damage to an electricity meter box at a residence on Old Stage Road was noted.
    • Contacted in Downtown Cave Junction, Gregory Wayne Sampley, 57, was lodged in county jail on a charge of failure to appear on an original charge of second-degree criminal trespass.
    • Theft of a lime-green, side-by-side Arctic Cat vehicle from a carport in the 28000 block of Redwood Hwy. was reported.
  • Saturday, Feb. 6
    • Teri Lynn Dean, 42, was cited on a charge of DWS and warned for failure to carry proof of insurance on Laurel Road at 4:04 p.m.
    • Carolyn L. Duerr, 66, was cited on a charge of speeding (69 mph in a 45 mph zone) on S. Redwood Hwy. at 6:56 p.m.
  • Sunday, Feb. 7
    • Ten draft horses appeared on a Lamont Way property this morning, but it was unclear where they“d come from. Their owner eventually retrieved them.
    • A resident in the 1000 block of Rockydale Road said that for the third time in two days he saw a green Ford Explorer parked in front of his residence, and that when he approaches the vehicle the driver leaves at a high rate of speed. He thinks his home is being cased.
  • Monday, Feb. 8
    • Theft of two well pumps, iron filter and another pump from a Reagor Lane residence was reported. The items had a total reported value of some $5,000.
    • Theft of two large toolboxes from an unlocked garage in Selma, with an estimated value of $1,000 apiece, was reported.
  • Tuesday, Feb. 9
    • A caller on Kerby Avenue stated that some unknown person had egged his car and trailer overnight.
    • Theft of tools from an unlocked pickup truck in the 200 block of S. Redwood Hwy. was logged.
    • Under-age persons operating a red Subaru were seen tearing up the roadway along Thompson Creek Road. Also, tire-track damage to the lawn in front of Lake Selmac resort was noted.
    • Asa Martinson Squire, 18, was cited on a charge of speeding (75 mph in a 55 mph zone) in the 24000 block of Redwood Hwy. at 8 p.m.
