Gary Dale Wylie
Gary Dale “Chink“ Wylie, 69, of Kerby, died Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2010 at his home.
No service is planned. Illinois Valley Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Wylie was born June 1, 1940 in Bloomington, Ind. to George Franklin Wylie & Jocie Louise (Neal) Wylie. For 57 years he lived in the Illinois Valley. In 1962 he served in the U.S. Army. Over the years he worked for various logging companies as a timber faller and heavy equipment operator. He also owned his own logging company.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Pat Wylie, of Kerby; a daughter, Marilyn Wylie Rentz, of Medford; three sons, Don Neal Wylie, Gary Michael “Obie“ Wylie, and Danial “Moe“ Wylie all of the Illinois Valley; and five sisters, Laverna Sibberull of Indiana, Darlene Milner of Alaska, Annetta Floyd, Dorothy “Dort“ Milner, and Mattie Nelson all of Cave Junction; eight grandchildren; 3-3/4 great-grandchildren.
