Harold W. Wylie

Harold W. Wylie, 58, passed away peacefully at his home in Sutherlin, Ore. on Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2010.

At Mr. Wylie“s request, no service will be held at this time. He will be laid to rest at Eagle Point National Cemetery.

Mr. Wylie was born in Bloomington, Ind. on May 26, 1951 to George and Jocie Wylie. He served his country in the U.S. Army.

On June 7, 1980 he married Karen D. Taylor in Cave Junction. He later moved to Douglas County, where he lived for 25 years. He worked as a supervisor and a dryer tender at Murphy Plywood in Sutherlin.

Harold is in our hearts and will be missed. He is survived by his wife, Karen D. Wylie, of Sutherlin; a son, William (Wylie) Large, of Eugene; daughters Tonia Wear, of Sutherlin; and Cheryl Arrington, of Washougal, Wash.; brother Gary Wylie, of Cave Junction, five sisters, Laverna Sibberel, of Indiana, Darlene Milner, of Alaska, and Dorothy Milner, Mattie Nelson and Annetta Floyd, all of Cave Junction; and five grandchildren.

Sharon Ann Work Pickle

April 25, 1942 - January 14, 2010

Sharon was the daughter of Howard O. and Ella Grace Work. She was born in Grants Pass, Ore.

At the time of her passing, she and her husband, Howard Pickle, lived in Selma, Ore. Known by family and friends as “Annie and Buz“.

She is also survived by her mother, Ella Grace Work. Her father, Howard O. Work, passed Sept. 11, 1984. She had two daughters, Monica Provinzano and Tina Lindeken, and several special stepchildren. She had several grandchildren and great grandchildren, and a sister Judy Branham.

We will miss you Sharon. Thanks for the good times.
