Lights on for Santa Dec. 5
Illinois Valley Chamber of Commerce will host its annual Christmas treelighting and holiday singalong on Saturday, Dec. 5 beginning at 5 p.m. on the vacant lot adjacent to the Junction Inn in Downtown Cave Junction.
Hot chocolate and cookies will be provided, said Dulcie Moore, chamber secretary. Additionally, Santa Claus is expected to have candy canes for the kids.

Cave Junction Cares served some 200 meals at Jubilee Park on Thanksgiving Day, and another 87 meals were delivered to home-bound individuals. 22 turkeys, eight hams and all fixings were donated for the event.
