RCC BDC classes offered

It’s not too late to take advantage of RCC Business Development Center’s offerings in Illinois Valley.

These courses are offered at the Illinois Valley Entrepreneurial Center in RCC’s Kerby Belt Bldg., 24353 Redwood Hwy.

  • Web Site Development: An Introduction -- 6-9 p.m., Monday, Nov. 9: An introduction to the essential elements needed to plan, design and market a successful business Website whether you are planning to build it yourself or have a professional do it. Course number: 9.257 SA. Tuition: $59. Instructor Chris Kiltz .
  • Smart Start Your Business -- 9 a.m. to noon, Thursday, Nov. 12: Gain the information needed before you begin business. Topics include entrepreneurship, business structure basics, exploring options, rules and regulations, business and marketing planning, cash flow projections, and record-keeping basics. Course number: 9.253 S4. Instructor: Business Development Center (BDC) Counselor, Kenny Houck. There is a $10 materials fee.
