Selma resident Anthony David Spangler, 18, was cited on a charge of reckless driving following a rollover accident on the driveway at the Cave Junction 76 service station on Friday afternoon, Aug. 28, said OSP. Spangler was said to have accelerated rapidly while northbound on Redwood Hwy. then turned sharply into the driveway, which caused the vehicle to roll onto its top.   • Early school start smooth for students

    Hallways of all the area schools have been largely empty during the summer break, but that changed on the morning of Monday, Aug. 31, as students returned to the classrooms.
