Family fun events were held at Jubilee Park in Cave Junction on Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 29 & 30 as part of the Sesquicentennial Celebrations marking 150 years of Oregon statehood. Selma resident Anthony David Spangler, 18, was cited on a charge of reckless driving following a rollover accident on the driveway at the Cave Junction 76 service station on Friday afternoon, Aug. 28, said OSP. Spangler was said to have accelerated rapidly while northbound on Redwood Hwy. then turned sharply into the driveway, which caused the vehicle to roll onto its top.
