Illinois Valley Fire District (IVFD) firefighters and support members train continuously. On Tuesday, June 30 firefighters participated in friendly competition to hone their skills. Events included tying safety rescue knots, dragging a sled bearing the contestant's weight and transporting a dummy 50 feet.
