Maurer to meet in CJ May 16

Rep. Ron Maurer (R-Grants Pass) will hold a town hall meeting on Saturday, May 16 from 10 to 11 a.m. in Cave Junction City Hall.

Maurer said that the meeting will be a “general legislative update.”

The state’s revenue forecast will have been released the previous day, and Maurer said that it is “possible” that he may present an alternative budget proposal to attendees.

But most of all, Maurer said, he’s interested in gathering input from residents about legislative issues.

“I want to hear what people have to say,” Maurer said.
