Mike McDermott, a 1959 graduate of Illinois Valley High School, has created a doll house replica of the Chateau at Oregon Caves National Monument. The 80-pound, three-story structure will be displayed at Illinois Valley Visitor Center until the July 4 weekend, when it will be raffled to raise funds for the I.V.   • Classic series to begin at Chateau May 8-9

    Guitar concerts by solo artist David Rogers on Friday and Saturday, May 8 and 9, will kick off the “Classics at the Chateau” series at Oregon Caves National Monument.
