Wednesday, April 8
- A Selma resident complained of traffic speeding through a 20 mph zone on Lakeshore Drive. Extra patrol was requested, and one driver was warned about his goofy driving habits.
- William R. Etherington, 62, was cited on a charge of violation of the basic rule (VBR: driving too fast for conditions) on Lakeshore Drive near McMullen Creek Road at 11:23 a.m.
- Some sort of land-use dispute between neighbors was reported in the 36000 block of Redwood Hwy.
- Malcolm P. Jensen, 72, was cited on a charge of speeding (32 mph in a 20 mph zone) on Lakeshore Drive at 11:49 a.m.
- Kenneth Lee Herrick, 69, was cited on Lakeshore Drive on a charge of speeding (34 mph in a 20 mph zone).
- Emrold Leroy Prickett Jr., 63, was cited on a charge of speeding (32 mph in a 20 mph zone) on Lakeshore Drive at 12:07 p.m.
- On Redwood Hwy. near Hidden Creek Road, Sherry K. Thompson, 35, was cited on a charge of speeding (73 mph in a 55 mph zone).
- After a report of hit-and-run damage to a vehicle parked in Downtown Cave Junction, witness information led to the suspect. The suspect and the owner of the damaged vehicle exchanged information, although voice levels were not noted.

Thursday, April 9
- At 1:18 a.m. a caller reported seeing a light blinking within the Illinois Valley Family Resource Center on E. River Street, and thought it suspicious. The findings remained dark.
- Lisa Anne Sherier, 33, was cited to appear in Cave Junction Municipal Court on a charge of speeding (47 mph in a 35 mph zone) on Caves Hwy. at 5:37 p.m.
- Two Illinois River Road residents were warned regarding telephonic harassment against each other.
- Damage to a fence in the 24000 block of Redwood Hwy. was said to be caused by the driver of a maroon passenger car. Whoever it was did not hang around.
- Scott Thomas Armijo, 19, was cited on a charge of speeding (79 mph in a 55 mph zone) on Dick George Road in the 1400 block at 9:44 p.m.
- At 9:55 p.m. an Elwood Lane resident reported a suspected prowler. She stated that to deal with the situation she was going to go to bed and “pray” under the covers.

Friday, April 10
- Kandi Lucile Crow, 58, was cited on a charge of speeding (37 mph in a 25 mph zone) on E. River Street at 6:20 p.m. He also was warned for lack of registration and no current proof of insurance.
- Tony Ray Sanderson, 50, was cited on a charge of speeding (60 mph in a 45 mph zone) on Redwood Hwy. on the north side of Cave Junction at 7:25 p.m.
- Located behind the Cave Junction Post Office at 9:59 p.m., Luey Magic Ocean Glenn, 20, subsequently was lodged in Josephine County Jail on charges of probation violation and minor in possession of alcohol. His blood-alcohol content was reported to be .28.
- Justin M. Bennett, 20, was cited on a charge of speeding (70 in a 55 mph zone) near milepost 19 of Redwood Hwy. at 11:57 p.m.

Saturday, April 11
- At Illinois River Forks State Park, Christopher R. Caldwell, 37, was lodged in county jail on a warrant charging fourth-degree assault, and he was cited on charges of driving with a suspended license (DWS) and possession of a controlled substance (PCS), less than an ounce of marijuana. Caldwell also was warned for an obstructed license plate. A passenger in the vehicle fled by swimming the Illinois River.
- Tammy Gail Oxley, 38, was cited to appear in CJ Muni Court on a charge of DWS and VBR on N. Redwood Hwy. at 3:05 p.m. The vehicle was impounded.
- An entrepreneur contacted on the vacant lot next to Junction Inn was warned for not having an appropriate business license.
- In the 5000 block of Westside Road a man complained that his neighbor’s six pit bulls attacked his dog, and there was “blood all over.” Another neighbor confirmed that the dogs were a continual problem.
- On Fir Drive at 8:14 p.m., Clifford Thomas Allen Jr., 23, was cited to appear in CJ Muni Court on a charge of no operator’s license.
- Brandon Levon Breazeale, 24, was cited for lack of insurance and warned for not using headlights when required on S. Redwood Hwy. at 8:33 p.m.
- A handful of young people were hanging around a business on S. Old Stage Road at 8:44 p.m. and a caller thought it suspicious. Some 30 minutes later, it was reported that the hanging-around gang was fighting, but nothing was located when a deputy responded.
- Michael Daniel Forester, 26, was cited to appear in CJ Muni Court on a charge of VBR (speeding: 59 mph in a 45 mph zone) on Redwood Hwy. ay 9:51 p.m.
- During an incident on Greenview Drive at Dick George Road, people ran from a vehicle which was determined to belong to someone else. Also, a pistol was located, but was not claimed.

Sunday, April 12
- Jade Charleton Yandell, 19, was cited on a warrant charging failure to appear (FTA) on original charges of second-degree theft and second-degree criminal trespass.
- At 1:23 a.m. a mother complained that she discovered three teen-aged boys in her house with her daughters without her permission. She wanted the boys warned for trespassing.
- No reason for alarms at 2:47 a.m. at Ray’s Food Place in Selma were noted when a deputy and K-9 officer checked the premises.
- On Queen of Bronze Road a resident reported that he was being harassed by someone on his property.
- On Lakeshore Drive a man stated that his three guns were stolen by his son. Later he said that two of the guns belonged to his son. (No reference to anyone being a son of a gun).
- The driver of a vehicle fled on foot following a pursuit on Lakeshore Drive at 10:49 a.m. The driver was identified by his passenger as John Michael Almond (aka Hergenrether), 33. Charges referred to the D.A. are felony eluding, reckless driving, reckless endangerment, first-degree criminal mischief and possibly PCS methamphetamine, pending tests on paraphernalia found in the vehicle. Autumn A. Chambers, 34, was cited on a charge of PCS/less than an ounce of marijuana.
- Theft of a white Toyota pickup truck from an E. River Street address was reported.
- Following a report of an injured person in Kerby at 6:43 p.m., Bobby James King, 19; Cory Ryan Alloway, 20; and Dean Lewis Hoyle, 20, were cited on charges of third-degree assault and transported to county jail. Alloway and King also were cited on charges of conspiracy to commit third-degree assault.
- A pair of suspicious vehicles parked near a vacant residence on S. Kerby Avenue elicited a concerned call at 8:13 p.m.

Monday, April 13
- A neighbor reported unlawful entry to a shop building located at a vacant Deer Creek Road residence.
- In Kerby at 10:43 a.m. a mother reported that her 13-year-old daughter assaulted her and then ran down Redwood Hwy.
- Rebecca Lynn Dodson, 36, was cited on charges of driving uninsured and no operator’s permit on W. Lister Street at 6:44 p.m.
- Two people contacted at Illinois River Forks State Park at 10:09 p.m. were advised of park hours and were said to be moving on.

Tuesday, April 14
- At 3:10 a.m. an E. River Street resident reported a prowler, who pried open her living room window and entered her home. It might have been the caller’s ex-husband, she said.
- On Kerby Avenue a woman said that her ex-boyfriend forced his way into her home and refused to leave. She was advised to seek a restraining order. He was advised to leave.
- In Kerby, a man said that he believes someone with whom he’s recently argued has been dumping fast food garbage in front of his property.
- Theft of equipment from a gauging station on Illinois River off Takilma Road was reported.
- Tools were taken from a Caves Hwy. property in summer 2008, a caller stated, and they never were delivered as promised to an Idaho resident.
- Although his vehicle is unregistered and he has no valid driver license, Raymond Ronald Karczewsky©, 71, was cited on a charge of interfering with a police officer following a traffic stop in the 500 block of Caves Hwy. at 6:24 p.m. His vehicle was impounded. Karczewsky was transported to county jail where he was released.

Wednesday, April 15
- George Edward Plaut, 57, was cited on a charge of VBR near Lake Selmac at 12:21 p.m.
- Six people were warned about interfering with a right-of-way on E. Watkins Street.
- In O’Brien a woman was said to have removed much of her clothing; slammed herself against a wall; and then fled her residence after an argument with family members.
- Some sort of disturbance was reported on Iron Way.
- Located on S. Junction Avenue, David Scott Conas, 42, was arrested on OSP warrants charging first-degree child neglect and first-degree criminal trespass. He was lodged in county jail.
- On Cowboy Way, a man stated that someone was shooting at him. It was not known if it was a cowboy.
- On N. Redwood Hwy. at 8:10 p.m., Mikael Henry Fahrnkopf, 26, was cited on a charge of DUII. His vehicle was impounded.
- In the 22000 block of Redwood Hwy., Gary Eugene Orr, 28, was cited on a charge of DWS and warned for speeding.
- A Queen of Bronze Road resident complained that a neighbor was trespassing and “trying to set off his PTSD.” He wanted the sheriff’s office to be aware of the situation.
