Thursday, March 19
- Following a complaint of a man with a knife who was yelling and cursing at a Barlow Street residence, Jeremy Justin Beck, 29, was cited on charges of second-degree criminal mischief and two counts of menacing.
- On Warren Road at 5:03 p.m. a caller stated that some people in a 4-by-4 were “tearing up” the neighboring property.
- The operator of a green car was said driving dangerously on Takilma Road at 6:11 p.m., nearly striking a cyclist.
- Three pickup trucks were said to be racing around on the parking lot at Illinois Valley High School at 6:01 p.m.
- A man called from Downtown Cave Junction at 9:19 p.m. to report that he was being accosted by a woman. The couple were contacted later. It was determined that they had been drinking (something alcoholic probably), but there was no evidence of a crime.
- A verbal disturbance was reported on S. Redwood Hwy. in Downtown Cave Junction at 9:58 p.m. The male half of the altercation was transported to a relative’s house.

Saturday, March 21
- A man stated that a woman, brought home by his roommate, took some $1,500 when she left. When confronted, she admitted to taking the money, but returned only part of it. The man declined to press charges, as he thought it would be “a waste of his time to pursue the issue further.”
- On W. Lister Street, a man stated that while he and his wife were arguing about her having taken money from a Rockydale Road resident, she assaulted him and knocked the phone from his hand as he dialed 911. Subsequently, Kassondra Johnson, 41, was cited on a charge of fourth-degree domestic assault and lodged in Josephine County Jail.
- A Kerby resident reported that his daughter had been receiving harassing phone calls.
- On Laurel Road a resident reported that a man was “freaking out,” yelling and cussing in the neighbor’s yard. When contacted, Mervin Abraham Rose, 49, was cited on warrants charging failure to appear (FTA) on an attempt-to-elude charge, and probation violation on an original second-degree theft charge.

Sunday, March 22
- A heated altercation between family members of a recently deceased person was reported at 12:16 p.m.
- On Laurel Road a man stated that his landlord was shooting into the air and yelling, “No people!” And he was unable to leave, he said, because the driveway was blocked.
- Ronald Reed Vetkos, 41, was cited to appear in Cave Junction Municipal Court on a charge of driving with a suspended license on S. Redwood Hwy. at 5:19 p.m.

Monday, March 23
- Herbert Eugene Wyatt Jr., was cited on charges of driving under the influence of an intoxicant and second-degree criminal mischief following an incident on Merlot Drive. Wyatt’s reported blood-alcohol content was .17.

Tuesday, March 24
- At 10 a.m. an officer was roaming south of Rough & Ready Creek, looking for a camp (of persons camping illegally).
- On Takilma Road, a woman stated that another woman she allowed to live on her property in exchange for work was creating problems.
- On Schumacher Street a caller stated that he believed some people were casing nearby residences. In Downtown Cave Junction at 4:29 p.m. a woman was looking for her pregnant German Shepherd (dog).
- The operator of a small white Toyota pickup truck was seen dumping bags of trash along Rockydale Road on March 16. Later, (apparently today) the witness saw the vehicle again and recorded the license plate number.
- For some reason an officer initiated a pursuit after a minivan on Rockydale Road at 5:14 p.m., but could not locate it.
- In the 2000 block of Caves Hwy. a caller reported a prowler at 10:22 p.m. No sign of a disturbance was found.

Wednesday, March 25
- A woman appeared to be passed out or taking a nap behind the wheel of a vehicle parked on the Western Plaza lot at 12:22 a.m.
- *After arguing with a customer at I.V. Senior Thrift Shop at 12:58 p.m., two people were attempting to follow the customer into the store, against the wishes of an employee. The two were warned against trespassing.
- A young child found walking on Westside Road at 2:21 p.m. was reunited with her mother.
- It appeared that someone had kicked in the door and taken up residence in a vacant dwelling in the 26000 block of Redwood Hwy., a caller stated.
- Located in the 300 block of S. Redwood Hwy., Neil Francis White, 57, was cited on a warrant charging FTA on an original second-degree criminal trespassing charge. He was lodged in Josephine County Jail.
- At 6:56 p.m. a caller was engaged in an argument with someone attempting to start a camp fire on the I.V. Visitor Center property on Caves Hwy. The caller stated that this happens whenever employees leave the premises. Based on the description given, a deputy noted that he believed he knows the couple involved.
