Thursday, Feb. 26
- Lisa Marie Eldridge, 24, was cited to appear in Cave Junction Municipal Court on a charge of speeding (59 mph in a 45 mph zone) on Redwood Hwy. at Laurel Road at 3:01 p.m.
- Two people were warned for blocking a public right-of-way in the 200 block of S. Redwood Hwy. in Downtown Cave Junction at 3:43 p.m.
- Edwin Bishop Self, 24, was cited to appear in CJ Muni Court on a charge of speeding (45 mph in a 25 mph zone) on E. River Street at 4:28 p.m.
- Carole Joy Gerughty, 45, was cited in Downtown Cave Junction at 4:51 p.m. on a charge of failure to stop for a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
- Upset about a recent incident and the “general state of the Cave Junction area,” a man was jumping up and down on his pickup truck on a Cave Junction parking lot, “ranting and raving,” at 5:13 p.m. He was warned regarding disorderly conduct.
- Someone dumped unusable items at Goodwill in Cave Junction and took off.
- In the 400 block of S. Redwood Hwy. at 7:10 p.m., Gary William Edwards, 61, was cited on charges of driving under the influence of an intoxicant (DUII), careless driving, driving with a suspended license (DWS) and no proof of insurance.
- On Barlow Street a resident said that his son was outside, highly intoxicated and yelling.
- Items including handguns and sports memorabilia were reported stolen from a Caves Hwy. residence, which had been ransacked.
- Suzanne Rene Bates, 40, was cited on a charge of DUII near milepost 30 on Redwood Hwy. at 9:44 p.m. Her vehicle was impounded.

Friday, Feb. 27
- A small group of people was warned for being in a closed area at Illinois River Forks State Park in the vicinity of 1 p.m.
- Betty Tillische Sumega, 54, was cited on a charge of parking in a disabled parking area on Eight Dollar Mountain Road at 2:32 p.m. Also noted was inappropriate use of a school district vehicle.
- A dispute between a tenant and landlord was reported on Forest Creek Road.
- Two people contacted on S. Redwood Hwy. in Cave Junction were warned for interfering with a public roadway and were said to be moving along at 7:31 p.m.
- Stephanie Leigh Mead, 22, was cited on a charge of no operator’s permit on Sauer’s Flat at 7:59 p.m.
- Neil Francis White, 57, was cited on a charge of trespassing, and on a warrant charging failure to appear on a previous charge of second-degree criminal trespass, in the 200 block of S. Redwood Hwy. at 9 p.m.
- Said John Zia, 54, was cited on a charge of speeding (70 mph in a 55 mph zone) at milepost 34 on Redwood Hwy. at 10:44 p.m.
- Warned for making an illegal U-turn, Richard Henry Riviera, 55, was cited on charges of DUII, DWS, and refusal to take a breathalyzer test on Redwood Hwy. in Kerby at 11:24 p.m.

Saturday, Feb. 28
- A disturbance between a father and his 15-year-old daughter was reported in the 400 block of S. Redwood Hwy. at 2:23 p.m.
- Four people went for a hike off Lakeshore Drive and became lost on BLM land. They phoned for help, and built a fire until it arrived.

Sunday, March 1
- After a report of trespassing at an E. River Street address, the complaint appeared to be unfounded, as the “trespasser” is living there.
- On Laurel Road a man said that his neighbor tore down his fence and dug a culvert which drains onto his property.
- After someone reported seeing someone shoot an animal and drag it to their vehicle near McCaleb Ranch out Illinois River Road, Joshua Edmund Dangerfield, 24, was cited on charges of discharging a firearm in a recreational area and illegally tagged game.
- In the 2000 block of Happy Camp Road, a caller stated that he heard four or five gunshots around 6:13 p.m. A deputy, who happened to be parked in the remote area, said that he heard it, too.
- On E. River Street, a man said that his father-in-law pulled onto the driveway and honked, in violation of a no-contact order.
- On Caves Hwy. a man said that his ex-girlfriend confronted him about being with someone else, rammed her vehicle into his and bit his right forearm.

Monday, March 2
- A driver stated that as he was southbound on Redwood Hwy. near Ken Rose Lane at 3:30 p.m., an object struck the driver’s side of the car, shattering a window.
- From S. Junction Avenue, a caller reported finding a swimming pool liner dumped near his carport.
- A Deer Creek Road resident reported that a neighbor apparently had been dumping bags of household garbage on the caller’s property for “at least a couple of years.” When contacted, both parties agreed to attempt a civil resolution.
- An intoxicated and disorderly patron of a Downtown CJ establishment was bothering other customers and refused to leave, a complainant said at 5:05 p.m. He was transported home and warned against trespassing at that bar.
- A man who’d been allowed to visit a Selma residence was unhappy when asked to leave, and kicked open the locked door to the residence, breaking it. He was warned against trespassing at the dwelling.

Tuesday, March 3
- At 12:56 a.m. a woman said that she was receiving threatening calls from a man who’d been removed from her residence earlier. She was advised regarding her telephonic harassment options.
- Theft of medication from a Kerby residence was reported at 9:15 a.m.
- Following an extended period of reported alcohol use and repeated statements about killing himself, a Holland Loop resident was taken into custody on a peace officer’s mental hold.
- A 15-year-old runaway was recovered in Downtown Cave Junction and returned to the custody of her mother.

Wednesday, March 4
- On S. Redwood Hwy. at 3:52 p.m., Damien Michael Clark, 15, was cited on a charge of minor in possession of tobacco and released into the custody of his mother.
