Tuesday, Dec. 2
- Theft of several guns from a Holland Loop residence was reported.

Wednesday, Dec. 3
- At 3:08 p.m., three persons were informed that their trespassing on the porch of a business in the 200 block of S. Redwood Hwy. in Downtown Cave Junction would not be tolerated. Also, a 15-year-old boy was returned to the custody of his mother.
- Located somewhat south of Cave Junction around 3:45 p.m., Randy Allan Wakefield, 48, was cited on warrants charging failure to appear (FTA) on original charges of driving with a suspended license and DUII. He also was cited on a charge of providing false information to police.
- Deputies responded to a hold-up alarm on Honeybee Lane and found a woman needing medical aid because of a fall.
- A Thompson Creek Road resident reportedly had an itemized list of items said to be stolen. Items reported included lots of alcohol and food from a freezer.
- The owner and occupant of a motorhome, parked for three or four days on W. Sixth Street in Kerby without permission of the land owner, was told to move out.
- A caller complained that a man offered his wife and sister money to perform sexual favors. Also, the man allegedly stated that he “had enough guns and knives to take out the whole town.” Contacted by deputies, the man was told of the complaints, and advised “to curtail any type of ambitions of that nature.”

Thursday, Dec. 4
- A Rockydale Road resident complained that another woman had left a threatening message on her answering machine. The message indicated that the caller intended to get a lawyer and file suit. The complainant was informed that this was not a crime, and did not qualify as harassment.
- Someone left a small satchel near Illinois Valley Senior Center, prompting a witness to assume a drug exchange. The suitcase was found to contain trash, which a deputy disposed of.
- Officers were investigating a possible arson fire that destroyed a van on Kerby Avenue late the night before.
- A woman was warned about filing a false report when her statement, that another driver had left the scene after striking her vehicle in Downtown Cave Junction, was determined to be untrue.
- Just after 11 p.m. a highly intoxicated woman was pounding on a guest’s door at the Junction Inn, demanding to be let in. The guest didn’t know her; she was refused and sent home.

Friday, Dec. 5
- A possibly intoxicated driver in a silver-colored Jeep was reported at Hayes Hill at 6:14 p.m.
- On Westside Road a man said that he has allowed his mother-in-law to stay on his property, but now his brothers-in-law are there too. He wanted them and their belongings removed.
- Donald Charles Peterson, 65, was cited on a charge of failure to drive within a lane of travel in the 21000 block of Redwood Hwy. at 7:20 p.m.
- A civil compromise was reached between restaurant management at Junction Inn and a man who left at 11:03 p.m. without paying for his cheeseburger.

Saturday, Dec. 6
- A man thought that some Kenwood Road residents might be harboring his runaway son.
- Leah Elizabeth Pitari, 30, was cited on a federal charge of possession of a controlled substance (PCS)/marijuana. She was warned for failure to use a seatbelt and endangering a child passenger.
- Kimberly Ann Couick, 47, was cited to appear in Cave Junction Municipal Court on a charge of no operator’s permit. Couick also was warned about speeding, and her vehicle was impounded.
- A 25-year-old man was advised of Jubilee Park hours at 8:13 p.m.
- Two drivers were warned to avoid speeding between Cave Junction and Kerby around 8:30 p.m.
- Sandra Lee Cantu, 42, was cited on a charge of speeding (70 mph in a 55 mph zone) near milepost 17 on Redwood Hwy. at 11:18 p.m.

Sunday, Dec. 7
- Heavy-set and with scraggly blond hair, a man was trespassing and staggering onto the road in the 27000 block of Redwood Hwy.
- Teen-aged hooligans were thought responsible for a tether-ball post bent out of the ground at Evergreen Elementary School.
- Firearms and other items were reported stolen from a man residing on a mining claim east of the 30000 block of Redwood Hwy.
- A Holland Loop resident reported that her ex-boyfriend was threatening her and destroying items.

Monday, Dec. 8
- Automatic weapons fire was reported in the 28000 block of Redwood Hwy.
- An injured deer in need of dispatching was reported in the 1000 block of Dick George Road at 11:12 a.m.
- In connection with a reported burglary in Kerby, Dyland Wilson, 14; and Shawn Council Weaver, 20, were cited on charges of first-degree burglary and second-degree theft. Additionally, Weaver was cited on a charge of second-degree criminal mischief.

Tuesday, Dec. 9
- Theft of a 250-gallon tank full of propane from a Naue Way residence was reported.
- A 15-year-old boy was reported as runaway from his Westside Road residence.
- Two men were warned about Jubilee Park hours at 9:35 p.m. They moved on.

Wednesday, Dec. 10
- Following a verbal altercation between two men in the 400 block of Waldo Road at 1:32 p.m., one man fired two rounds from a handgun into the ground. The other flagged down a deputy to report it.
- Animal Control took custody of a large bloodhound at Jubilee Park. The owner was not present.
- Michael Raynald Fuentes, 44, was cited on a charge of speeding (44 mph in a 30 mph zone) on Caves Hwy. at 4:08 p.m.
- Joshua Jason Bowers, 34, was cited on a charge of speeding (44 mph in a 30 mph zone) in the 300 block of Caves Hwy. at 4:25 p.m.
- Teresa Georgette Goad, 51, was cited to appear in CJ Muni Court on a charge of failure to obey a traffic control device on W. Lister Street at 6:21 p.m.
- Theft of a 21-foot trailer from a Dick George Road property was reported.
- Following a report of a damaged fence in the 27000 block of Redwood Hwy., Roger Kelm, 52, was contacted at home and cited on a charge of failure to leave name at the scene of an accident with property damage.
- A Cave Junction man said he believed that his roommate was selling his prescription medication.
In All Fairness: A caller who identified himself as Selma resident Gene Vogel said that although he was listed in the Dec. 10 issue Blotter as being cited, it was not him. The caller said that the person cited actually was his son, Adam.
