Closures noted for Veterans Day

A number of public operations will be closed on Tuesday, Nov. 11 in observance of Veterans Day.

U.S. Postal Service employees will have the day off, so there will be no mail deliveries. All banks will be closed, plus Cave Junction City Hall, and DMV offices.

There will be no public school classes on Monday the 10th for a staff development day, and schools will be closed the 11th.

The Illinois Valley News office will be open as usual Monday and Tuesday with normal deadlines in effect.
