Cougars come close against Cascade

Illinois Valley came close to victory against Cascade, but fell short 14-6 in a nonconference game in Cave Junction Friday night, Oct. 31. Offensive guard Jacob Campbell, #64, ran the ball for a short distance. Cougar head coach Ray Yarbrough complimented the I.V. defense and had praise for the offense as well. Yarbrough, who met with the team in the locker room after the game, said that he is pleased with the positive attitude and the fact that the players had fun in their competition.
