Serious injuries in motorcycle accident

Traffic was hampered on Redwood Hwy. on the south side of Cave Junction Friday, Aug. 29 because of a traffic accident that occurred at noon. A motorcyclist struck a fawn that ran across the highway a short distance south of Hamilton Lane. The animal died at the scene. The unidentified cyclist was transported by American Medical Response.
