Dorothy Piller

At her request, no service will be held for former Cave Junction resident Dorothy Piller, 94, of Medford, who died Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at her home.

Remembrances may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City OK 73123.

Mrs. Piller was born on June 18, 1914 in Minneapolis, Minn. As a young child, she moved with her family to Oregon’s Willamette Valley. In 2007 she moved from Cave Junction to Medford.

Surviving are two sons, Michael Piller, of Sun Valley, Idaho, and Anthony Piller, of Los Angeles; a daughter, Sharon Bartick, of Scottsdale, Ariz.; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Casey Piller.
