Ellie Buell places a wreath

Pearl Harbor Daywas observed Friday, Dec. 7 with a ceremony by Glenn Morrison American Legion Post 70 & Auxiliary at Cave Junction City Hall. The Japanese attack in 1942 brought the USA into World War II. Ellie Buell, American Legion Auxiliary Dept. of Oregon president, placed a memorial wreath. (Photos by Illinois Valley News)
