Arlene Tayloe, an Ashland violinist, and pianist Dr. Dorothea Hover-Kramer from Cave Junction will combine musical talents at 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 21.

Sponsored by the Rogue Valley Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, the lively duo concert will take place at the Unitarian Center, 87 Fourth St. in Ashland. Refreshments will follow the performance.

The program ensemble offers a rich variety of classical music in three quite different styles:

*Bach’s ethereal violin/piano sonata in B minor.

*The dynamic Beethoven sonata, Op. 12 #1, first of his 10 writings for this combination of instruments.

After a brief intermission, the Tayloe/Hover-Kramer duo will treat listeners to one of the highpoints of the romantic era:

*Grieg’s famous third piano/violin sonata, op. 45, which has many concerto features for each instrument.

For further information contact the fellowship center at 482-4755, or Hover-Kramer at 592-5296.
