Patsy M. Woods
A memorial service for Cave Junction resident Patsy W. Woods, 58, who died at home on Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2007, will be held Saturday, Sept. 22 at Fountain of Life Assembly of God Church in Cave Junction.
The service will begin at 12:30 p.m. with Pastor Mark McLean officiating.
Mrs. Woods was born Aug. 23, 1949 in Pendleton, Ore. to George & Eva (Doolittle) Crawley. She grew up in Pendleton, and in 1970 married Walter Duran. They had a daughter, and moved to Cave Junction in 1979. The couple divorced in 1980, and he died on March 9, 2001.
On Dec. 28, 1984,she married Howard Woods, who died Dec. 12, 2001. They owned H&B Equipment Co. and Southern Oregon Equipment Rentals, besides a backhoe business, all in Cave Junction. She was a member of Fountain of Life Assembly of God Church. She liked fishing, traveling, camping, and gardening. Mrs. Woods also enjoyed wildlife, especially deer and squirrels.
She is survived by a daughter, Eva Antognazzi, of Cave Junction; a son, Michael Woods, of Merlin; her mother, Eva Murphy, of Grants Pass; two brothers, Ed Crawley and Dan Crawley, both of Pendleton; two sisters, Christine Murphy and Darlene Newton, both of Cave Junction; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and six stepdaughters, Pat Rooney, of Rigley, Calif., Nancy Kohlhoff, of Milwaukie, Ore., Sandy Moody, of Chino Hills, Calif., Cathy Krull and Sue Erwin, both of Grants Pass, and Becky Wells, of Cave Junction; and three stepsons, Dave Woods, of Rogue River, Tom Woods, of Aumsville, and Terry Woods, of Salem.

Wendy Ann Ingram
A memorial service for Cave Junction resident Wendy Ann Ingram, 33, who died in a motor vehicle crash near Takilma on Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2007, was held Monday, Sept. 17 at Illinois Valley Funeral Home in Cave Junction.
Wendy was born to George & Gloria Ingram on Dec. 29, 1973 at the former Josephine Memorial Hospital in Grants Pass.
When she was 2, the family moved to Cave Junction. She attended Evergreen Elementary School and Lorna Byrne Middle School, and graduated in 1993 from Illinois Valley High School.
She married James Ray Dodson, and they had two children, James Ray and Brianna. They later divorced. Wendy also had two other children, Jordan and Shasta.
She worked in customer service at a large truck stop and convenience center in Central Point. She later had her own construction business. Wendy attended Illinois Valley Praise Center, and had been a member of Job’s Daughters.
Her hobbies included fishing, swimming, art, writing, photography, four-wheeling in the mountains, shopping, and spending time with family.
The family said that she is survived by her children, Brianna, Jordan and Shasta, all of Cave Junction; her parents, of Central Point; a brother, David Ingram, of White City; and many aunts and uncles.
Illinois Valley Funeral Directors was in charge of arrangements.
James Ray Dodson II
A memorial service was held Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2007 for 13-year-old James Ray Dodson II, who died as a result of a motor vehicle crash on Tuesday, Sept. 11.
The service was held at Illinois Valley Funeral Home.
James, who was a seventh-grader at Lorna Byrne Middle School, was born on Dec. 24, 1993 in Grants Pass to James Ray Dodson Sr. and Wendy Ann Ingram. He grew up in Cave Junction, and attended Evergreen Elementary School before moving up to Lorna Byrne Middle School.
His hobbies included skateboarding, shooting his .BB gun, bicycling, fishing, camping, and learning to play an electric guitar. He also enjoyed the outdoors.
He is survived by his father, James Ray Dodson Sr.; two sisters, Brianna and Shasta, and a brother, Jordan, all of Cave Junction; his grandparents, George & Gloria Ingram, of Central Point; a great-grandmother, Luella Baker, of Cave Junction; a great-grandfather, Stanley Morgan, of Medford; a grandmother, “Valerie,” of Arkansas; an uncle, David Ingram, of White City; an aunt, Brandy Dodson, and a great-aunt, Darlene Dodson, both of Cave Junction.
Illinois Valley Funeral Directors was in charge of arrangements.
