Walk for life
WALK FOR LIFE at Grants Pass High School on Saturday, June 2 raised approximately $228,000 for the American Cancer Society. Participants included Chris Smith (right), who walked nonstop for more than 20 hours of the 24-hour fund-raiser. Smith, manager of the Illinois Valley branch of SOFCU Community Credit Union in Cave Junction, took only brief restroom breaks. Other participants included the I.V. High School cheerleading squad.
