*An irate father wanted to prosecute the 20-something man who gave rum to his 17-yar-old daughter in Jubilee Park, resulting, he said, in her being in intensive care at Three Rivers Community Hospital in Grants Pass.
Thursday, May 10
*Cash, ID and letters were said to be in a black bag that fell from a man’s walker in Downtown Cave Junction.
*At Lake Selmac a woman reported that a man she said “Hi” to near an outhouse replied that he “was in Vietnam and I need to shoot you in the head.”
*Deputies tried to investigate a reported beating of one man by another in the 300 block of Caves Avenue. The suspect was thought to be possibly intoxicated.
*There was a report that a man in O’Brien had lost approximately $50,000 because of an unscrupulous care-taker in another part of the state.
*Disorderly conduct was noted at a Cave Junction bar in connection with a man who entered it with his child, 3, apparently to see his wife there.
*Yelling and screaming by several people were reported in Downtown O’Brien shortly before 10 p.m.
*A man in Cave Junction said that his vehicle hood, valued at $250, was stolen.
