Armed citizenry vs. justice system levy
From ‘Dusty’ Rhodes,
Munchie’z

I am voting “No” on the tax levy, as we have no police protection at current funding, so why raise my taxes 50 percent to get the same nothing?

An armed citizenry will be more effective than a handful of cops that aren’t there. If there are not enough cops to protect the good guys from the bad guys, there are also not enough to protect the bad guys from the good guys. This should be a very dangerous situation for the bad guys.

Like the sign reads, “Forget the Dog -- Beware of Owner.” The pioneers didn’t have cops 24/7. What situation do people want? A. Have your home taken by the county ‘cause you can’t pay your taxes? Or B. Maybe have a confrontation with a bad guy.

Higher gasoline. Higher taxes. Higher medical costs. I know I have an endless supply of money: Yeah -- right!

It is too bad that Bush cares more for his trillion-dollar war than for the citizens of the United States -- but that is now just a fact of life. I cannot afford higher taxes.

‘Do not tax us out of our homes, property’
From The Sheridan Family
Cave Junction

This is to urge our friends, family and neighbors in Illinois Valley to vote against the criminal justice system levy, Measure 17-19, on May 15.

The reason is that our family, friends and many neighbors live on fixed incomes. Most of them fall well below $16,000 a year (poverty level). With an increase of $2.50 per $1,000 of assessed value, this will raise our property taxes to the point that a lot of property owners would be forced to sell their homes and property because we can’t afford to pay the criminal justice system tax.

Remember that this increase also will affect renters. If landlords have to pay higher taxes on the property they rent, most likely the rent will go up.

The same law enforcement that we will be taxed for will be the same law enforcement that will evict us, and our friends, family and neighbors, because we are unable to pay the extra tax. Coincidentally, we have never seen a tax go away after it has been implanted and go away in three years.

Do not expect this tax to be any different. Interestingly enough, every time Josephine County needs more money, Illinois Valley property owners are penalized.

There has to be a solution other than raising taxes on property owners. When the attorneys of Josephine County make $100,000-plus a year, and the sheriff’s officers make $65,000-plus a year; they want us to flip the bill.

We can barely cover the current taxes imposed on us. The criminal justice system in this county has been exposed for fraudulent charges filed against innocent people and the waste of tax money.

My friends, family and neighbors cannot be taxed extra when money is being wasted by corrupt officials seeking their own agendas.

I hope that our neighbors will vote “No” on Measure 17-19. We urge those with extra money to set up a private account and pay for what law enforcement they might deem necessary.

Or how about Alex Pawlowksi and his SOREDI (Southern Oregon Regional Economic Development Inc.) putting together a new plan with an account to collect monies from his business group and other people of means on a voluntary level.

Last, but not least, if the measure does pass, everybody knows that the money will be spent in Grants Pass and other surrounding areas, and our law enforcement in Illinois Valley will remain the same as always.

‘Paper terrorist’ cites U.S. ‘Fiction’ government
From Raymond Ronald Karczewski ©

Has anybody noticed the impotence of the authorities to swiftly carry out the execution of the unlawful court conviction of Ed and Elaine
Brown?  Should not that be telling the American public something about the quality of its present justice system?

For those who have been through the legal process, there is no mystery to the delay in federal law enforcement fulfilling the order of the court. It is because they are skating on thin ice in the government’s unlawful rule, and more and more Americans are waking up to its game.

The courts have their hands full with the people awakening to their true status as Living, Breathing, Flesh-and-Blood, Sentient, Natural men and women -- Sovereign Sons and Daughters of God who now refuse to waive their rights or contract, consent, or grant jurisdiction to the fictional court. Without
such, the fiction courts have no power to carry out the policies of Mammon.

In my own case, when I began to hold my Josephine County public officials, judges, D.A.’s and sheriff personally responsible for their unlawful conspiracy to cover up actions in their agents kidnapping, armed robbery, and holding this Living, Breathing, Flesh-and Blood, Sentient, Natural man
hostage on the pretext of a traffic infraction -- itself, not a jailable offense (but nevertheless it didn’t prevent them from taking me at gunpoint), they knew they had a problem on their hands when I set out to seek remedy for their actions by using their own UCC lien process.

Their immunity of public office could not protect them privately via the UCC liens, so Josephine County D.A. Clay Johnson resorted to government CYA (Cover Your
Ass) tactics and conjured a secret grand jury indictment and sat on it for six months waiting to see whether I would go beyond the personal UCC filings of the individuals and file the lien against the state of Oregon and county of Josephine.

When I filed the lien, they arrested me for being a “Paper Terrorist” under the Patriot Act; i.e., “Simulation of Legal Process” (the filing
of the liens).  After all, how could government possibly continue to carry on its business of raping, robbing, and holding folks Hostage for Ransom if its agents were going to be held responsible
for their actions? If folks think this is an exaggeration, they can read about on the events as they unfolded on my Website: arkenterprises.com/index11.html

Now the “Fiction” government follows the same pattern with Ed and Elaine Brown. How long will the “Fiction” government wait to carry out the sentence of the unlawful, unconstitutional, nonArticle III Court over those it had no jurisdiction over? Will it wait out the Browns, to work their PR Magic on the populace like
Waco before they go in for the kill? Will its agents go in with guns blazing, like Ruby Ridge?

Or will the government admit defeat at the hands of Truthful, Living, Breathing, Flesh-and-Blood, Sentient,
Natural man and woman, husband and wife, Son and Daughter of God?

Or will the authorities of Mammon wait six months as they did in my case?

What amazes me is the paralysis of the American public observing how irrational our government has become.  They stand like the deer in the headlights, awaiting certain death. Is that what America has become -- a self-destructive society of persons who care not what happens to their neighbor, as long as they are not the target of government?

Are the people Nutz, or what? This is our country, not the government’s. These are our lives.  We are responsible for them and our neighbors. When tyrants come after Ed and Elaine Brown or Raymond Karczewski, what makes people believe that their time will not come?

Our future and that of our children depend on our actions today. We should ask:  Who is the real enemy? Could it be -- Satan?

Federally owned land in state focus of new group
From Dan Postrel, Agency Affairs director, Oregon Dept. of Forestry
Salem

Forestland managed by federal agencies, primarily the U.S. Forest Service and Bureau of Land Management, form a large component of Oregon’s forestland base -- 18.2 million acres, approximately 60 percent of the total.

This land, with the potential to provide many economic, environmental and social benefits, are critical to Oregon’s well-being. Accordingly, an advisory group has come together to develop a vision for the state about how the federally owned land should be managed to contribute to the health, sustainability and productivity of Oregon’s overall forestland base.

In the end, we hope to produce a document useful to Congress, government agencies, and interest groups in developing policies and plans for these important resources. Of course, federal forests have been very much in the news in recent years, amid debate about their management, role and future.

Conflict, uncertainty and federal-level policy and budget decisions have been detrimental to the forests themselves -- as shown by increased wildfire risk and severity for instance -- and to those who look to these forests for jobs, recreation or other benefits.

The Board of Forestry formed the Federal Forestlands Advisory Committee to meet direction from Gov. Kulongoski and the Legislature to seek a vision for these lands that reach beyond conflict, recognizing the importance of all forest values.

More information about the committee can be found at oregon.gov/ODF/BOARD/FFAC.shtml; or phone Jeri Chase, public affairs officer, at (503) 945-7201.
