Rogue Community College’s Firehouse Gallery will host “Indecision,” a series of self-portraits, through Saturday, April 28.

La Grande artist Jessica Plattner employs humor “to address serious issues of identity and feminism.” A First Friday Art Night reception will be held Friday, April 6 from 6 to 9 p.m.

The gallery, which also features the Douglas Purdy Collection, is in Historic City Hall in Grants Pass at Fourth and H streets. It is open from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays; 10 to 1 Saturdays.

“The Tortured Souls,” an exhibit of recent work by Los Angeles artist Linda Frost, will be displayed at Rogue Community College Wiseman Gallery from Monday, April 16 through May 9.

The display looks at “the world of animal research testing and the creatures used for scientific advancement.”

The gallery is on the RCC Redwood Campus in Grants Pass. It is open Mondays through Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Fridays 8 to 5; and Saturdays 9 to noon.
