Professional, licensed and upscale pampering that focuses on dermatological health is available at Solis Skin Care.

Operated by Illinois Valley resident Cherie Miller, a licensed aesthetician since 1995, the new business is located at Northwest Hairlines at the north end of Cave Junction.

Outstanding service includes European facials, foot massage and reflexology treatment, plus back treatment. Waxing also is available.

Besides her status as a licensed aesthetician, she has been a massage therapist for more than 20 years, and she has a bachelor of arts degree in psychology from Sonoma State University.

She is a certified Dr. Hauschak esthetician, and has studied extensively at the International Dermal Institute for Skin Care. To accommodate the particular skin-care and treatment needs of her clients, Miller has products from Dermalogica, Jan Marini Skin Research, Dr. Hauschka Skin Care, and Babor Skin Care.

“I use only professional products proven over time,” said Miller, “and I am committed to providing outstanding service to result in radiant skin.

“I am available for skin-care consultation or product recommendations. Whatever the customer wants for their skin, from head to toe, I’ll provide the most-effective approach.”

Her services range from a 35-minute express facial and an anti-aging facial to 60- and 90-minute facials. Foot reflexology and moisturizing foot treatment can be added. There also is a 60-minute Reiki treatment for stress reduction and rejuvenation.

She deals in clinical facials, and noted that she can help to clear up a person’s skin in just a few weeks. She is experienced in working with helping skin that is dry, oily, acned, or aging.

Regarding her service at Northwest Hairlines, she said, “I like to make it a relaxing experience; sort of a mini-vacation. I like to help people relax.

“My clients find they like to be pampered.”
