Saturday, Aug. 12

*Following a single-vehicle accident near Holland Store at 3:34 a.m., Bonnalee Faith Ader, 26, was cited on a charge of driving under the influence of an intoxicant, and her vehicle was impounded.

*It appeared that someone had exited through the window of a vehicle reported crashed into a tree on Waldo Road early this morning.

*At 8 a.m. on Lakeshore Drive a mother and son were said to be physically fighting.

*Alicia M. Parkinson, 19, was cited on charges of failure to maintain a lane (FaMaLa) and driving uninsured (DrUn) in the 4000 block of Illinois River Road at 11:30 a.m.

*David William Bozeman, 17, was cited for having an illegal campfire at Oak Flat on Illinois River Road. He also was warned against abandoning.

*Logan J. Martin, 20, was cited on a charge of FaMaLa and failure to carry insurance on Illinois River Road.

*Jonathon, Robert Lee Perkins, 20, was cited for lack of adequate fenders (on his vehicle) at 12:30 p.m. on Illinois River Road.

*Robert S. Payne, 47, was cited on a charge of FaMaLa on Illinois River Road.

*Besides FaMaLa, Tim Rondell Shermer, 52, was cited on a charge of DrUn on Illinois River Road.

*Gabriel Scott Thompson, 22, was cited on a charge of furnishing alcohol to minors. Contacted with Thompson at McCaleb Ranch out Illinois River Road were Roy Anhkiet Nguyen, 19; Megan M. Nguyen, 14; Jason Bryant, 16; Jami L. Hopson, 14; and Krissa Brown, 16. Each was cited on a charge of minor in possession of alcohol.

*After the vehicle he was driving struck another on Illinois River Road in the 10000 block and then left the scene, David W. Bozeman, 17, was located at a Store Gulch campsite, where he was cited on a charge of DrUn, and his vehicle was impounded.

*Theft of a red, single-speed bicycle from the 200 block of Caves Hwy. was reported at 4:27 p.m.

*Barry Galen Heizenrader, 45, was cited on a charge of driving with a suspended (DWS) license on N. Redwood Hwy. at River Street. His vehicle was impounded.

*Though it was reported that four teen-agers were possibly destroying equipment on the roof of Evergreen Elementary School at 7:30 p.m., no one could be located when a deputy checked the area.

*Two teen-aged boys were contacted on Pine Cone Drive because someone said they could hear one screaming as if in pain and calling for help. The two were not in distress or “overly noisy” when a deputy responded.

Sunday, Aug. 13

*At 1 a.m. on the occasion of his 55th birthday, Neil Francis White was contacted with his buddy, Leslie Roy Perkins, near Speedy Mart in Downtown CJ.

*A man who apparently fell off his bicycle and bloodied himself near Ray’s Food Place in Selma refused medical attention and was taken care of by friends.

*Marily R. Flint, 68, was cited on a charge of speeding (63 in a 45 mph zone) on Hwy. 199 near Westside Road at 11:46 a.m.

*Two people who thought the I.V. Family Resource Center was open Sundays tugged at the locked front door, initiating an alarm at 12:11 p.m.

*Some sort of tenant/landlord dispute occurred in the 18000 block of Redwood Hwy.

*Virgil Blake Guess, 36, was arrested at Jubilee Park on a charge of probation violation and lodged in Josephine County Jail.

*Gisa Hertler, 32, was cited on three charges of endangering child passengers in the 2000 block of Illinois River Road at 5 p.m.

*Audra Ellen Roat, 22, was cited on charges of DrUn and expired registration on Illinois River Road.

*A driver whose dog had been jumping around inside the vehicle was warned for FaMaLa on Hwy. 199 at Deer Creek Road at 10:30 p.m.

Monday, Aug. 14

Wednesday, Aug. 16

*Trees of various sizes had been cut in the 35000 block of Redwood Hwy. a man said. He was advised of his civil options.

*The owner of Munchiez said that the front window of the business had been smashed, causing approximately $250 damage.

*On W. River Street a man said that he was assaulted by his ex-wife’s husband.

*Veronique D. McWest, 24, was cited on charges of DWS and DrUn. The deputy noted that an “irate” McWest made several unsignaled turns and was warned for eluding after trying to leave before being released from the scene.

*His brother’s truck was vandalized, said a man who’d come to retrieve it from the 7000 block of Holland Loop.

*Leslie Jansson, 49, was cited on a charge of violation of a restraining order and lodged in county jail in Grants Pass.

*Caught applying graffiti at Jubilee Park just after 7 p.m., Chaz Albert Lindsey, 21, was cited on charges of second-degree trespassing, five counts of second-degree criminal mischief, and probation violation. He was lodged in county jail.

Thursday, Aug. 17

*Nada.

Friday, Aug. 18

*Several men wearing stocking caps and in a small, white pickup truck attempted to steal his ATVs from River Street, a man said at 3:41 a.m. One of the would-be thieves hit him in the head with an object, knocking him down, he said.

*At 3:45 a.m. two telephone booths and a road sign at the intersection of Hwys. 199 and 46 were reported demolished by the unknown driver of a vehicle discovered with only three tires near Illinois Valley Medical Center.

*Said “verbally abusive to forest service employees, Lane Riley Colvin, 45, was cited on a charge of having an illegal campfire.

*A 1993 Nissan pickup truck was reported stolen from an Addison Lane residence overnight.

*Three people in the 9000 block of Illinois River Road were warned about having illegal campfires.

*A stolen pickup truck, abandoned and entangled in barbed wire at the end of Finch Road, was recovered by its owner this afternoon.

*On Takilma Road a man said that he surprised the occupants of a white pickup truck which pulled into his driveway with no headlights early this morning. They took off, he said, and he wanted extra patrol.

*Dean Lyle Smith, 35, was cited on charges of being a felon in possession of a weapon and DWS. His vehicle was impounded, and he was transported to jail.

*Mark Ladon Lanning, 47, was cited on charges of failure to wear a seatbelt on Illinois River Road.

*Following an altercation in the 5000 block of Caves Hwy. during which a gun accidentally discharged, Levi Delmar Doney, 24, was cited on charges of first-degree assault, unlawful use of a weapon, reckless endangering and three counts of menacing. Bernard Garcia, 50, was cited on charges of attempted first-degree assault, pointing a firearm at another, unlawful use of a weapon, three counts of reckless endangering, and three counts of menacing.

*Cited on charges of second-degree assault and first-degree robbery for an incident at Bolen Lake Campground, Steven Patrick Champion, 30, turned himself in and was lodged in county jail.

*The driver of a yellow car fled the scene of a two-vehicle, noninjury accident on Hwy. 199 at Deer Creek Road at 6:30 p.m.

*For the past 10 days, people on Deer Creek Road in the 1000 block had been playing loud music, and a complainant wanted them contacted.
